Darjeeling Honey is the e-commerce brand of IVY Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, a community-driven cooperative empowering over 100 local beekeepers across nine villages and four tea gardens in the Kurseong region. We’re not just selling honey—we’re creating sustainable livelihoods, preserving traditional beekeeping knowledge, and bringing the authentic taste of the Himalayas to homes across India.
With our online platform launching on November 18th, we’re looking for a passionate, creative, and strategic Online Marketing Manager to lead our digital presence and help us reach honey lovers nationwide.
What You’ll Do
As our Online Marketing Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind Darjeeling Honey’s digital growth:
Digital Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive online marketing strategies across social media, email, SEO, and paid advertising
- Manage our website (darjeelinghoney.com) and optimize for conversions and user experience
- Create compelling content that tells our story—from beekeeper profiles to product highlights
Brand Building
- Craft authentic narratives around our signature Tea Honey and community impact
- Build and engage our online community of honey enthusiasts
- Position Darjeeling Honey as a premium, purpose-driven brand
Performance & Growth
- Drive online sales through targeted campaigns and promotions
- Analyze metrics, track ROI, and continuously optimize marketing performance
- Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships for maximum impact
Content Creation
- Oversee photography, videography, and graphic design for digital platforms
- Write engaging blog posts, product descriptions, and email campaigns
- Collaborate with our beekeepers to capture authentic stories
Who You Are
Essential Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce or food/beverage sector
- Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing
- Proven track record of driving online sales and building brand presence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
- Creative mindset with ability to tell compelling stories
Bonus Points:
- Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of Nepali or Bengali languages
- Passion for sustainability, community development, or rural livelihoods
- Photography or video editing skills
- Understanding of the Darjeeling region and local culture
