Rooted in Legacy, Growing with Purpose
IVY Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited was born on December 19, 2020, from a shared vision of community empowerment and sustainable development. Named in honor of Shri Ivy Guruma, a revered educationist whose dedication to learning and community service continues to inspire generations, our cooperative began with 51 passionate founding members in Rajbari, Tindharia, Kurseong.
What started as a modest initiative has blossomed into a thriving movement—today, we work with over 100 beekeepers across nine villages and four tea gardens in the Darjeeling hills.

Darjeeling Honey Production
Our flagship initiative has trained over 100 beekeepers in modern, sustainable practices across Kurseong’s villages and tea gardens. We’ve procured 958 kg of premium honey, generated ₹6.4 lakh in revenue, and developed a signature product line including our acclaimed Tea Honey.
Poultry Feed Production
Supporting local poultry farmers with quality, affordable feed that reduces external dependency and strengthens the agricultural ecosystem. By keeping production local, we ensure quality control while creating jobs and keeping profits within our community.
Mushroom Farming
Promoting mushroom cultivation as a nutritious, economically viable income source. We provide training, resources, and crucial market linkages that transform this sustainable crop into real livelihoods for community members.
Bakery Operations
Establishing strategically located bakery shops that create employment while ensuring community access to fresh, quality products. Each outlet represents jobs created, skills developed, and dignity restored.

"Honey World" Bee Theme Park
An ambitious project transforming Tindharia into a tourist destination featuring beekeeping displays, observation hives, honey processing demonstrations, retail outlets, and recreational areas. This will boost sustainable tourism while creating dozens of indirect jobs in hospitality, guiding, and retail.
